The numbers behind every message you send
100%
Reach. Every opted-in member, every announcement. No algorithm in the way.
0
Per-message fees. Unlimited announcements, emails, and push notifications on every plan.
~5%
Of a Facebook Group sees a post on average. The other 95% never know it went out.
3
Channels in one. Email, push, and in-app message — written once, delivered everywhere.
You shouldn't have to pay an algorithm to talk to your own members
Facebook Groups buries your post behind an ad-driven feed. Mailchimp prices you by contact list and routinely lands in promotions. Group chats lose anyone who muted the channel two months ago. Your members never opted into any of that — they opted into your community. Kannect honors that opt-in.
One messaging system, three channels, every audience
Announcements (one-way)
Broadcast to your whole community or a group. Members get an in-app notification through the mobile app.
System email today
Kannect sends action-triggered emails: onboarding, event posted or updated, ticket purchased. Broadcast email is on the roadmap.
Push notifications
Delivered through the Kannect Community Hub mobile app on iOS and Android. Members must have the app to receive push.
Direct & group messages (two-way)
Members can reply, ask questions, and follow up. Tasks are two-way as well — assigned to members, with status updates back to admins.
Emergency Announcements
For genuine emergencies and cancellations, Emergency Announcements bypass member notification preferences. Limited access — not for routine messaging.
Daily summary option
Members who don't want push or per-event email can opt for a daily summary delivered at the time they choose.
The Reach Promise
Every opted-in member receives every announcement you send. No algorithm decides who hears you. No ad budget controls who sees you. No feed buries you. The Reach Promise is not a feature. It is the contract. If a member opted in, the message lands. Full stop.
The messaging stack, retired
Most organizations stitch together an email service, a group chat, and the algorithm-driven post on a social platform. Kannect retires all of it.
Transactional & event email
System emails for onboarding, events, and tickets built in. Broadcast email coming.
Reaching the whole group
100% of opted-in members, not ~5% via an ad-driven feed.
Two-way community chat
Built for your members, not your engineers. No app sprawl.
Audience segmentation
One member record, always in sync, every segment.
Built for the organizations that need to be heard
Nonprofits
Donor updates, campaign launches, volunteer asks. To everyone, not just the email list.
K–12 & PTAs
Reach every family. School closures, sign-ups, events, fundraising — in one place.
Local government
Trusted announcements to residents. Permit changes, public meetings, civic events.
Public safety
Time-sensitive updates to neighborhoods, schools, and partners. Verified channel, real reach.
$15/mo billed yearly, or $19/mo month to month
Every plan includes unlimited communication, events, the member app, and discovery. No per-message fees. No contact-list tiers.
Common questions about Kannect Communication
What is the Reach Promise?
The Reach Promise is the commitment that every opted-in member receives every announcement you send. No algorithm decides who hears you. It is a contract, not a feature.
Are messages really unlimited?
Yes. Unlimited announcements, emails, in-app messages, and push notifications on every plan. No per-message fees, no contact-list pricing tiers.
Can I segment who gets a message?
Yes. Send to your whole community, a single group or chapter, attendees of a past event, donors above a threshold, or any segment of the member record. The segments stay synced as people join, leave, or change roles.
Can members reply, or is it one-way?
Two-way. Members can reply to announcements and message your team back. You can also disable replies on broadcast announcements when one-way is the right call.
Do I need Mailchimp or a separate email tool?
No. Kannect Communication includes email, push, and in-app messaging. Most organizations retire their email service provider after switching to Kannect.
How do I know if a message landed?
Today we offer basic analytics on profile and resource activity. Delivery, open, and read analytics on individual messages are on the roadmap but not yet available.
