How long does it take to launch?
Website tier launches in 3–7 days. Mobile App and Community Platform tiers launch in 14–21 days once app store account setup begins. Enterprise timelines are scoped during onboarding.
What does the setup fee cover?
The one-time $999 setup fee on Mobile App and Community Platform tiers covers Apple Developer and Google Play account setup, app icon and splash screen production, push notification certificate configuration, initial app store submission, and coordination through Apple and Google review. Website tier has no setup fee. Enterprise setup starts at $5,000 and covers dedicated infrastructure provisioning, SSO/SAML integration, white-labeled admin dashboard deployment, custom domain configuration, and dedicated onboarding.
How do processing fees work?
Payments process through Stripe. Website, Mobile App, and Community Platform tiers pay a 1% Kannect platform fee on paid events, memberships, paid groups, and fundraising campaign donations. Enterprise gets Kannect's lowest published platform fee at 0.5% — half the rate of other white-label tiers. Standard Stripe processing fees apply on top. Registered nonprofits pay 0% Kannect fee on donations.
Who owns our data?
You do. Your organization fully owns your members, content, events, and data. Export most data from the app anytime. Request a full data export by email and we deliver within 30 days. We never sell or repurpose community data.
Is there a long-term contract?
Website, Mobile App, and Community Platform tiers are billed monthly or annually with no long-term contract. Enterprise engagements are scoped with custom terms.
Do we get our own mobile app?
