Can I import my existing member list?

Yes. You can import members from a CSV or invite them by email.

What kinds of organizations use Kannect?

Costs, fees, and changing plans

How much does Kannect cost?

Kannect charges a 2% platform fee on paid events, programs, and memberships, and 0% on donations to registered nonprofits. Standard Stripe processing fees apply on top.

Can I upgrade or downgrade plans?

Yes. You can change plans anytime from the dashboard. Your members, events, content, and history move with you.

Do you offer a fully branded white-label option?

Yes. Three tiers: branded community website, branded native iOS & Android apps, or a fully white-labeled platform with all Kannect branding removed. See white-label options.

Features

What Kannect can do

Do my members need to download an app?

No. Members can use a limited browser experience. The Kannect Community Hub mobile app on iOS and Android is required for push notifications, direct messaging, task assignment, ticket check-in at events, and automations. There's no full member web portal yet.

Can I organize members into groups, chapters, or committees?

Yes. You can group members however your organization is structured. Group limits depend on plan: Minimum 5, Launch 10, Growth 25, Scale 50.

Does Kannect support events with paid tickets?

Yes. Free or paid events with multiple ticket types, capacity limits, and automated reminders. Payments process through Stripe. Event waitlists are on the roadmap.

How does check-in work at events?

Three ways: members tap to check in from the mobile app, scan their ticket-email link, or the organization checks them in manually. Available within 30 minutes of the event start time.

What kind of analytics do you offer?

Today we offer basic analytics — profile views and likes, resource clicks. Advanced analytics (delivery, attendance, group-level reporting) are on the roadmap.

How does email work in Kannect?

System emails fire on actions: onboarding, event posted or updated, ticket purchased. Broadcast email is on the roadmap.

Security & data

How we handle your data

Kannect uses modern security practices: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, regular reviews of access and dependencies, and credit-card verification on every organization that joins the network. Hosted on Amazon Web Services.

Who owns the data my community creates?

Your organization. Your members, events, messages, and content belong to you. Request a full export by email and we deliver within 30 days.

Does Kannect sell data or run ads?

No. Kannect makes money from subscriptions. We do not sell member lists, communication, or content, and there are no ads in your community.
