Choose who receives an announcement

The Audience field, which targets a status or everyone tied to one event, campaign or group.

Audience is the first field on the form, and it defaults to Entire community.

Who you can target

  • Entire community
  • A status: Member, Alumni, Staff, Volunteer, Donor, Parent, Student
  • Everyone tied to an item: Events, Campaigns, Programs, Groups, Membership plans

Steps

  1. Open Communication → Announcements.
  2. Open the Audience dropdown at the top of the form.
  3. Pick a status, or pick a category and then the specific event, campaign, program, group or plan.
