Website branding

Two colours, a font and a favicon. That is the whole of it, and it is enough.

Discover Website → Branding is where you "Customize how your public Discover Website looks."

The fields

Primary Color. "Used for your primary buttons and footer." A colour picker with a hex box next to it.

Secondary Color. "Soft tint for backgrounds and accents."

Font Family. A Google Font for your site, or Default (Kannect) to use the platform font. The list is Poppins, Inter, Roboto, Open Sans, Lato, Montserrat, Nunito, Work Sans, Source Sans Pro, Raleway, Merriweather and Playfair Display.

Preview. A line of sample text so you can see the font before you commit. Kannect's own note: "A preview of your selected font."

Favicon. The little icon in a browser tab. Change Favicon to upload one, Remove to drop it. "SVG recommended; PNG, ICO, JPG accepted (max 1 MB)."

Then Save Changes.

Steps

  1. Choose Discover Website, then Branding.
  2. Set your primary and secondary colours to match your logo.
  3. Pick a font, and read the preview.
  4. Upload a favicon.
  5. Choose Save Changes, then View Website to see it.
