Track your money in Wallet
A live view of your Stripe account: what has come in, what is clearing, and when it lands.
Settings → Wallet tracks "what's coming in and when it lands in your bank."
The banner at the top is the important sentence: "Payments are processed and paid out by Stripe, directly to your bank. Funds never pass through Kannect, this is a live view of your Stripe account."
So nothing here is Kannect holding your money. It is Kannect showing you Stripe's numbers in the same place as everything else.
There are three views: Overview, Transactions and Payouts.
Overview
Three cards about money in motion, each explained in the product:
- Available Balance: "Funds settled in your Stripe account, ready for the next automatic payout to your bank." Next to it, Payout settings takes you into Stripe.
- Pending: "Recent payments still clearing in Stripe. Usually available in 2 to 3 business days."
- Next payout: "Stripe automatically transfers your available balance to your connected bank on a rolling schedule."
Then four cards about the month:
- Revenue: "Total collected this month across all activities, before fees."
- Transactions: "Number of payments received this month."
- Donations: "Total donations received this month."
- Fees: "Total fees this month, Stripe processing fees plus Kannect platform fees." The card breaks the two apart so you can see which is which.
Below that, Revenue by activity, with a period picker. Its columns are explained too: Activity, "Activity that collected payments"; Type, "Event, campaign, or membership"; Revenue, "Total collection, before Stripe fees"; and Transactions, "No. of payments toward this activity."
Transactions
Every individual payment, with Date, Status, Type, Activity, Amount, Fee and Net.
A Date range filter and Export CSV sit above it, which together are your answer to most accounting questions: pick the period, export, hand it over.
Payouts
Money leaving Stripe for your bank: Initiated, Amount, Destination, Status and Arrival.
Arrival is the date to quote when somebody asks when the money lands.
Steps
- Open Settings → Wallet.
- Read Overview for where things stand.
- Switch to Transactions, set a Date range and choose Export CSV for your records.
- Switch to Payouts to see what has been sent to your bank.
